Hi, I’m Shannon.
I’m a designer who delights in finding imaginative solutions for complex problems and transforming ideas from good to great. I’ve worked on a diverse slate of industries ranging from industrial to tourism to government to hospitality, and just about everything in between.
Born and bred in the South, I shifted my sights from Nashville to Washington State for the mountains, the water, and the beer. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Public Relations and Marketing from Freed-Hardeman University and a Certificate in Web Development and User Experience from Seattle University.
I specialize in branding and brand strategy, user experience design and research, web design, print and editorial design, and motion graphics.
My creative approach—no matter the medium—is focused on the user. Whether thats creating a strong and comprehensive brand experience that is unified across all communications, or crafting an thoughtful information architecture of a website, my goal is always to create an intentional and enjoyable user experience.
In my spare time, I can be found working on my embroidery, playing music with my band, camping, roller skating, scuba diving, watching videos of animals synced to music, and leading a volunteer design team for the non-profit, GeekGirlCon.
